so, over the new year week, we set out to Ben and Vera's house in Avondale Estates to record Sophie's long awaited 1st album, Monkey Crazy.
It was a long session, but with the help of her talented background singers we got it down.

jason piccolo is a father, writer, filmmaker, and photographer.
his primary influence in life is his daughter, sophia.
his creative influence is the everyday and the found. he posseses an undying love for history, forgotten viewpoints, and timeless iconography.
the work is an exploration of isolation and how objects appear in that state.
to him, there's more value in following an old lead of barbwire fence than setting up lights and telling someone to smile.

Sophie is a superstar, we can't get enough of Monkey Crazy, it's on the top charts in our iTunes! We are eagerly awaiting her next hit.
